Was das Tool macht
Welche Eingaben funktionieren
Plausibilität: Geprüft werden u. a.
- Rot = Umkreis (Mittelpunkt O), Grün = Inkreis (Mittelpunkt I), Blau = Seitenhalbierende und Schwerpunkt G, Violett = Höhen.

What the tool does
You pick three quantities (sides a, b, c, angles α, β, γ, circumradius R, inradius r, area A, altitudes h_a, h_b, h_c) and enter their values. All remaining quantities are computed and the triangle is drawn to scale. The assistant asks for the three quantities one after another in small windows and then jumps straight to the value field.
Which inputs work
- Sides/angles: SSS, SAS, ASA/AAS and SSA (two sides + opposite angle) with 0, 1 or 2 solutions.
- With circumradius R: R + 2 angles, R + angle + side, R + 2 sides.
- With inradius r: r + 2 angles, r + angle + side, r + 2 sides.
- With both: R + r + angle, R + r + side, R + r + altitude and R + r + area.
- With area A / altitudes: A or altitude + 2 angles, 3 altitudes, area + 2 sides, altitude + 2 sides, 2 altitudes + side, and angle + any two lengths/area.
Ambiguous inputs can yield several valid triangles — a switch between the solutions then appears at the top. Every solution is checked internally against all inputs.
Three angles alone fix only the shape, not the size. Some combinations are under-determined, redundant or contradictory — e.g. a side with its opposite angle and R (law of sines) or a side with its altitude and the area; this is reported with an explanation and numbers.
Plausibility: checks include Euler R ≥ 2·r, “every side/altitude ≤ 2·R”, “every side/altitude > 2·r” and the area bounds for R and r.
Calculation steps
Below the result the complete calculation can be expanded: for each step the formula, the inserted numbers, the result and a hint why this formula applies. Numerically solved steps show the defining equation and a check. The end consists of the angle-sum check, perimeter, Heron area, altitudes, incircle, circumcircle and Euler check.
Drawing
- Base
c is at the bottom, the apex points up. The zoom slider above the drawing only enlarges or shrinks the screen view (50 % = fitted).
- Red = circumcircle (center O), Green = incircle (center I), Blue = medians and centroid G, Purple = altitudes.
- More layers via the toggles: perpendicular bisectors, orthocenter H, Euler line, nine-point circle, angle arcs, angle bisectors, excircles.
- Tap a point (A, B, C, G, O, I, H, N, Iₐ/I_b/I_c) – a tooltip shows name, coordinates and extra info.
Save, load, export, copy
- Save / Load – store the inputs (quantities, values, unit, layers) as a small file and load them again later; after loading the triangle is calculated immediately.
- Copy (text/CSV) – all result values to the clipboard, e.g. for CAD/CNC or spreadsheets.
- SVG (vector) – scales without loss; keeps the shown/hidden layers.
- DXF (CAD) – a real CAD format in real units (y-up), separated into layers; the target unit is selectable (e.g. input in cm, DXF in mm).
- Print / PDF – table, drawing and calculation steps; choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog.
- In the test version all calculations are free; these output functions are part of the full version.
Notes
- Decimal separator: dot or comma. Length unit (mm/cm/m) selectable above.
- A quantity that is already chosen is automatically locked in the other fields.
- Everything runs offline in the browser; no data is sent to any server.
Desenho
- A base
- Vermelho = círculo circunscrito (centro O), Verde = círculo inscrito (centro I), Azul = medianas e baricentro G, Violeta = alturas.
- Toque num ponto (A, B, C, G, O, I, H, N, Iₐ/I_b/I_c) – uma dica mostra nome, coordenadas e informações adicionais.
Guardar, carregar, exportar, copiar
